EDD thanks its 2015 summer interns

The Department of Commerce Economic Development Division (EDD) would like to thank its 2015 interns who participated through the Summer Youth Employment Program.

Three students spent their summer advancing their professional network and learned the ins and outs of the business application process in American Samoa by interning with EDD. To show their appreciation for the interns, the EDD staff prepared certificates of completion, gifts baskets from Tiola’s, and lunch at Jade Restaurant. The interns names are:

  1. Abishag Tuiasosopo

  2. Leanivanimonimo Gago

  3. Josephine Milovale

It was worth having these students throughout the summer, helping us with our filing, database, and customer service. We even took them out during our site visits and enforcement, which they really enjoyed…

-Rachael Peters, EDD Senior Administrative Assistant
